Technical Sessions: Assessment Look Development 'The Catwalk Look' no.5

I think it is safe to say that this design has been on of my hardest and something I have developed mostly on in the entire time I've been applying make up and styling hair. The look has changed numerous times in my head, on paper and applied to my face. But the outlook right now is that I have created my final look, now it has the chance to change over the next couple of days before the actual assessment as I am known to do this but for right now I can say I am happy of the outcome and have finally created a look that I think sits well for the brand, myself and my abilities. With the time set of an hour and 40 mins I feel confident in the fact that I can complete this look.

Here is my final look and practice.

As this was a late night brainstorm, I knew what I wanted to do with my base, dewy, contoured, highlighted, natural brows, fluffy lashes and a nude glossy lip it was mainly just the placement of the paint and the hair that I wanted to practice. I used the toothbrush techniques Kat had told me to try and it worked beautifully. It dispersed the correct amount of paint and the direction worked better of where the paint settled onto the skin. I decided to create something that seemed more organic and not as put together as I think it was before. I prefer this. I think this would be more fitting for a catwalk show as they wouldn't have a lot of time to apply a look that needs the paint to be perfectly put in a certain area.

The hair will be slicked back as in the pictures, I think I will bring more paint up into it though and more paint splatters down the neck. but I feel a weight has been lifted now I have come up with my look.

On a side note I came up with this in a pink tone as to take inspiration from the pink version of the palette from the collection, I know I want to use these tones but with someone who has more yellow based skin as I think the pink doesn't bode well with someone with warm tones. I am hoping to use this pink speckled look in my catwalk pictures perhaps linking the two together, have pictures of two models posing together but with contrasting looks.
The green definitley works better with warm toned skins and the pink i am sure will work better with the cool toned, but of course I will practice this before shooting on my actual photo shoot model.

Here are some of the practice pictures:
